Coach Pete Lingesso is by far one of the most enthusiastic, caring and genuinely supportive instructors in the Martial Arts community. It’s impossible to not get excited about training when you’re around this guy!
A tough and talented Purple Belt under Professor McHugh, Coach Pete is an active and experienced competitor with gold medal wins in IBJJF events and several local tournaments like NAGA, the UGA and Grappler’s Quest. He’s also competed on the Fight to Win stage.
In Coach Pete’s own words:
“There is a saying in the Jiu Jitsu world ‘Jiu Jitsu Changed My Life,’ and I feel like I epitomize this saying. I started training full time a bit in life (43)-though I have had experiences previously training MMA and wrestling- and I quickly found my life’s true passion in Jiu Jitsu. It is something that was bigger than me and I found the benefits it provides to the mind, body and soul; I’ve become a better father, husband and person from my pursuit of the Gentle Art. I train almost everyday and I love being able to share my passion and knowledge with my Team.”
