Coach Alan Kirwin

I began my jiu jitsu journey in 2016 at the age of 44. This was a few months after seeing the impact, benefit, and fun that my son was having on the mat. The transition from “Lobby Dad” to practitioner was extremely beneficial for me.

Jiu Jitsu filled a hole deep within my soul that I didn’t realize existed. The struggle, the growth, and most importantly the human connection is what got me hooked and is what keeps me actively engaged.

I whole heartedly believe that training, teaching, and coaching is the most rewarding and beneficial way for me to serve and give back to our community.
